Is it possible to drink too much water ?

Some people wonder if it’s possible to drink too much water. Since water is available nearly everywhere you go, whether from an office water cooler or bottled water from the supermarket, some people might worry that they could be drinking too much. The truth of course is that it is nearly impossible to drink too much water. Drinking plenty of water ensures that the body is properly hydrated which leads to overall better health. Drinking water is also great for the skin and flushing out the system of harmful toxins. In some rare cases, people have ‘overdosed’ on water by drinking too much, but most people would become sick from drinking too much water before this happens. In general, you should always drink when you are thirsty but also try to drink throughout the day, even when you don’t feel particularly thirsty.
